In his will my husband, who died in July, left his half of our house in a trust, created by his Will, to our children and grandchild with myself (his spouse) as life tenant and trustee.

Do I need to complete IHT forms before applying for Probate?  Trying to use the IHT checker, I would need to state that he left all his assets to me in order to get a nil valuation for IHT which is the correct result, but which is not actually correct.

Your advice would be greatly appreciated.
