Having been TUPED to a new ambulance company where myself and 4 other paramedics are to be made redundant plus 4 blue light drivers (we have to work our notice). I arrived for my first shift (last Friday 26th April) I was assigned to work on an ambulance that was covered in LBGT/pride graphics. I declined to work on it because of my beliefs. My manager said are you refusing to work? I said no but I will not work on this ambulance. After she consulted with HR, she told me if I did not work on it I must go home and I would not be paid. So I left.
Please can you tell me what I should do?
