My brother (recently deceased)and I were joint owners of a plot of arable land, the deeds are lodged with my brother’s solicitor. The solicitor acting on behalf of my brother’s wife has advised there were no survivor rights in place and has updated the deeds to her as joint owner. I haven’t received any notification of this from the solicitor. What are my rights and who is looking after my interests?
