Hi Neil,
my Solicitor has just sent the Legal Pack back to my Housing Association.. I am Shared Ownership, my buyer has no chain as lives at home, I am buying another shared ownership and do not need a mortgage , the person I am buying from is going into rented so there is no chain, We were all hoping the fact that there is no chain or mortgage this would speed up the process, I have already completed and returned the question documents about services Leases and what I am leaving etc
what do you think
NB Myself and the seller have the same Solicitors with out a Conflict of Interest as in different city’s

Kind Regards

Louise Revell

Hey Louise and thank you for your conveyancing query!

Sounds like your conveyancing has perhaps got stuck? Obviously, we cannot comment on the specifics of your transaction, but if I am correct in assuming you are concerned about things are ‘stuck’ then I would suggest you raise any concerns directly with the solicitors that you are using, and do that straight away. Sorry I can not be more help, and I hope that everything resolves itself quickly and the move to your new home completes very soon. Kindest regards, Neil
